Driving the mountain roads will take your breath away, I drove up to Black Hawk and Central City quite often, and seeing "Watch for falling rock" signs on the way up, made me a little tense. Quite often no need to touch the gas pedal coming down the mountain roads back to Denver, just brakes.

Went out to visit sister in Denver I think February of 1990, here it was the last day of February, it was 70 degrees and sunny skies and I said that's it I am moving here! So I moved there in 1992 and stayed until 2013. Rent was cheap back in those days, I had a studio at 13th and Logan in Denver for $250.00 per month. I have lived in Denver, Golden, Lakewood and Littleton. The only thing I don't miss is the traffic of course. Loved the sunny days out there.
