The orange shitgibbon has even ruined Euchre for me

Had some friends over and decided to drink and play Euchre (Midwest DUers know what Euchre is).

After one hand, we realized that what we normally call the prominent suit just wouldn't work.

Like Settie to Moses, we just couldn't speak his name.

My daughter piped up from the living room; "why don't you just call it Obama"?

Took some getting used to, but eventually we were saying stuff like; "clubs are Obama" and "if you have Obama you have to follow suit", and "don't Obama my ace"!

Good times!

My college (Pittsburgh) roommate taught me to play, but when I returned home (Philadelphia) no one had even heard of it so I couldn’t play. I would probably need a refresher at this point.

if that makes you feel better.

Has anyone ever played the variant of No Trump? If you are dealt all 4 aces (or even a couple aces, 2 suited, and you're leading), you can call no trump. My western PA hubby and inlaws have never heard of it.
