But my mom had some. .Mac Davis, Billy Crash Craddock and a bunch of religious stuff. I had a record player in my room that had an 8-track player but I wasn't too interested in listening to anything in the house. I didn't start buying albums until I moved out but I had a couple 45s I snuck in there.

People have this fondness for 8 track like it was some superior playback medium. It wasn’t.

So you can imagine the usual parts: Shock, OMZ, somebody broke in!1

Nothing was ransacked. They only took the player. But my stack of 8-tracks was sorted through and *REJECTED*!!!!!!!1

It was, like, they REJECTED my taste in music, just took the player!!!!!!!!!1
