That's no way to start the New Year off.

At the Dr’s office now.

Every joint aches. Stomach cramping. Outta breath.

Glad I left work early.

Ugh. This sucks.

the week before Xmas. Got over that but got up today with a scratchy throat and coughed so hard I vomited. I'm not actually sick to my stomach, but the coughing was that bad.

Now, normally I would just bundle up with a thermos of my favorite tea and a book and wait it out, but this time it has come at the absolute most inopportune time. My only grandchild is having her first baby any time! My first great grandbaby! The plan was that the baby's grandparents and great grandparents would all be at the hospital. I had to spread the word that I probably shouldn't be there. No one needs to catch this cold. They are setting me up on Skype so I'll see the baby when he and Mama and Papa are photo ready. Love technology.

They were worried about pneumonia as it was my second bout and that's an indicator of pneumonia but lungs sounded clear.

Just keeping an eye on things. Plenty of water and chicken noodle soup. Think I'll try a salad today
