That show is a regular in our house too. Hope he hits the Daily Double and recovers soon.

She never was the same again. I hope it is a better outcome for Alex Trebec.

Actually I thought he was going to retire after last season ending in July or thereabouts.
Certainly hope he has a complete recovery. He has been a staple in our house for decades.

... maybe "Oh, no, Alex Trebec had a subdural hematoma!" would convey your dismay better?
