I'm bragging

I just bought an LLBean winter coat that lists for 200+ in their catalog for 14.99 at the thrift store.

Even though I might only use it 5 days a year, I FEEL GREAT ABOUT THE DEAL.

Now excuse me while I make "sand angels" on the beach.

Were there many winter clothes there? I might have to check out the thrift stores next time I visit.

some with sleeves but none of them were my size.

There were a lot of Hawaiian shirts, one of them silk, YES, SILK, that did not fit me.

I only went there to check the place out. It's a new store.

For a while my brother in law was buying stuff from thrift stores and selling on eBay - he could make a big profit on the better shirts.

As long as you are selective and able to be picky, you can get great things at thrift shops. Most of the clothes I wore as a kid and teenager came from one. Even now, I still shop at them sometimes.

I've found amazing bargains and awesome things at our local thrift stores. You need to be patient though, and look at everything on every rack. The best stuff is always hanging on the wrong rack. That's why nobody else saw it or bought it.

I get all excited too when I find an insanely good bargain. I have found some in my day, but nothing that compares to your find!

I once bought a dress so beautiful at a consignment shop I wore it to a wedding ... Paid $10

I bought a Lands End full length quilted winter coat hardly worn for $25

But the item I love most is a hot pink London Fog belted trench coat brand new with tags from Macy's ... $15

I love getting bargains like this!!!!
