different sleep schedules--how do you deal with it?

I tend to be in bed by 11pm or midnight. I usually wake up around 6:30am or 7:00am.

My guy doesn't come to bed until 2pm or 3pm and he sleeps well past 11am.

I wake up and I'm ready to do stuff, but I'm always afraid to wake him up. So I end up wasting hours doing not much of anything.

Do any of you have this problem? If so, have you figured out a solution?

...hubby gets off work at 7 but is an hr away so by the time he gets home Ive dozed off. During the work week he gets up at 5 am...every dang day I'm up between 330 and 4. so we see each other a cpl hours in the am...but we make sure to have a date night on his days off.

So you can enjoy time with your spouse when he wakes up. If he complains, put a fan in the room for some white noise.

At 11 bring him in a cup of coffee and take a break.

Feed the pets, have some coffee, then head to the fitness place for a few hours. The place is busy early, but empties out as the workers go to work, leaving the place to us retirees.

"My guy doesn't come to bed until 2pm or 3pm and he sleeps well past 11am."

So that's 19 hours of sleep?
