We got out a few hours before those inches turned into feet.

It was an amazing storm that stayed with us through NE and IA (but it was only rain/wind/lightning in those states)

that came through last May!! Last winter would not end...it about did me in and by the end of it I'd lost all sense of humor about it. Sorry for sending snow your way...I'm going to blame it on the groundhog!

FYI. It blew like a banshee here last night and it is still dark so I don't know how much snow we got but when I let the dogs out this morning, snow tanked in my back door. Mama has had it with snow this year.

we are only getting an inch or two. Headed to the UP in the morning with little to north of here. Good Piston game tomorrow to watch.

we're gonna lose power. Drawing water in to jugs. Planning for the worst. She just went through a checklist of food we've got on hand. We're good till March 15th.

for beer, wine and popcorn. We have firewood. What more do we need?

At this point the snowbanks are so high that you take your life in your hands making a left turn.

Got a lot in far northern IL, but they were predicting it all the way down to the southern fringes of Chicagoland where we live. Got maybe a half inch, probably less.

Still could be some to come later, but they were predicting 12" over about a full day and we've hardly gotten any so far.
