Help with book title, please?

There's a woman, whose name I also can't remember, who writes books about how the body works.

One was about the gut, one is about sex, and there are others I can't remember.

I think she also wrote a book about space or space travel.

Any idea about the name of the gut book, or the author's name?

Her books always make the NYT best-seller list.

I'm hoping my crappy memory tonight has to do with meds I got for a procedure at the hospital today. Otherwise, I'm really slipping!

Thanks if you can help.

"Her book is called "Gulp: Adventures on the Alimentary Canal." It comes out in paperback next month. Roach is known for her humorous books about science, including "Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers," "Spook: Science Tackles the Afterlife," "Bonk: The Curious Coupling of Sex and Science," and "Packing for Mars: The Curious Science of Life in the Void." Mary Roach spoke with Terry Gross last year."

I read "Gulp" and "Stiff" and enjoyed them both.

You are right, and I have read several of her books. They are interesting and funny.

I wish we were still giving Valentines away, because I would surely give you one.
