(39,343 posts)This year will be the first in the last 4 that I'm not going to their parks. I am so glad that my kid has grown out of the Disney Princess stuff though and is ready for vacations at other places. This year's vacation will be a cruise come spring break (not a Disney Cruise however).

(192 posts)I live in Fort Myers Florida and have two daughters so you might think that Disney would be a second home.
My Wife and I always enjoyed going to Universal Studios for the rides and Halloween Horror Nights.
Once we had the kids we started taking them too. Except for the Halloween event.
They love the place as much as we do. They don't mind going to Disney but it comes in a distant second.
But we will go for your funeral

(34,195 posts)Walt Disney World and Disneyland prices rose over the weekend, testing again how much families can afford to pay for a day in the nation's best-known theme parks.
"Regular" ticket pricing is up $4 to $119 for adults and $113 for kids at the Magic Kingdom park in Orlando.
Parking prices also rose, to $22. Preferred parking will be $45.
... a family of four with two kids will have to pay $526 for a day of fun in the park.
(Plus food and souvenirs)
At Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., regular tickets were boosted $7 to $117 for adults ...

Oh, and I would still do every single ride!
My ashes go here, mostly because I LIKE roller-coasters!
