(10,109 posts)It is only a half hour and two seasons. I have a bunch of others to recommend, but we all have our own tastes. There is a Netflix/streaming group on DU.

(25,989 posts)Ten episodes. Beauty part is that it wraps up in a single season, so, if you watch it, you're not left wondering what next season will bring.

(14,276 posts)It is a short British 8 episode series - each one around 22 minutes. A little graphic, but a terrific story, excellent writing and outstanding acting.

(8,208 posts)It's just ten half-hour episodes and so witty, unexpected, complex and thought-provoking. And it never lectures; everyone's different points of views are respected.

I think its from a graphic novel. Shes a dark character with some superpowers and a lot of attitude and the villain is one of the meanest villains of all time. The short explanation is for the OP.

I had not been aware that Lawrence O'Donnell was so heavily involved with the show as a
producer and writer from 1999-2006. In fact he won the Emmy for Outstanding TV Drama Series for The West Wing in 2001.
