...watch until I fall asleep. I have zero interest in the awards, although I enjoy good films. I care less and less about personalities, but do follow the directors. What I'm hoping to see are great progressive and/or anti-The Donald remarks!

seeing a single one of those movies (etc.) this year. I should probably just record the Oscars, and then ~3 years from now when I've caught up through Netflix and Amazon, then I can watch the awards and see how my favorites did...

It's televised because people like to watch celebrities and root for their favorites. The actual work of acting in and producing films is anything but glamorous.

say the movie is a complex interlacing of all the characters giving different versions of what happened, not a glorifying or excusing of HARDING or anybody else. I just love Allison on "Mom."

The Arts are life to me. I ignore all the glitz and “celeb” though, but appreciate the work and the platform celebs give to social justice and politics.

altho I haven't seen a single one of the movies.

I also feel like I'm in some sort of time-warp with the music the bad is playing. Where on earth did they get some of these things, the 40s?? And no, I don't think the ones I'm talking about are related in any way to any of the movies.
