It was more or less an accepted rite of passage. I finally managed to quit in 1993.

I quit in 76 after my wifes doc told her to quit smoking. She had never smoked a day in her life!

off the air, but I can't remember the brand right now. It showed the little vitamin animals lining up to be eaten. Apparently that was disturbing to some.
