Oh what a night

Last night my hubby, kid, and I went out for dinner. On our way we came up to a stop sign. being real rural we wondered why the person already there was not going. My husband looked closer and couldn't see anyone in the driver's seat. He said "oh no, this doesn't look good, I wonder if they're dead." He pulled up next to the car and a woman was slumped over. I jumped out fully thinking I was going to have to do CPR. When I opened the car door I could definitely smell liquor and maybe meth.

At that moment another car had pulled up and asked if we needed help. I said yes, she's drunk, call 911. Luckily for the lady the call would not go through because we were in a dead zone. She came to as I was pulling her out of the car. Then the real fun began.

I'm gonna drive home now.

No way are you getting back in your car. If you get back in your car, I will call 911. this went on for a good minute, back and forth, She decided she was going to push past me and get in the car. I shoved her back, took her keys and locked them in my car.

I'm gonna call my Momma

You call your Mom to come get you, or I call 911 After 5 more minutes of her trying to get in her car. I told my husband to get me my cell phone, I'll call 911 and see if I can get through.

She finally calls her Mom. while waiting for her Mom she starts thanking me. I let her know we thought she was dead. My husband told her she was lucky we found her and not some whack job.

20 minutes later her mom came and we were on our way to eat.

My men are the best. Hubby stood behind her n case she went full on violent and my son got a pic of her and her plate incase she managed to get in her car. I am thankful she had enough sense to put the car in park when she passed out.

But the guys love that one and I have vetoed it the past few times.

Despite being rural she had to cross over a major crossroad, with heavy semi traffic. The speed limit is 55, but many go faster because there is only 1 cop on duty in town.
