I missed this world record when it was set last year

I feel exceptionally ignorant. Not only did I not know that there was a new record set for Swiss ball surfing, I didnt even know that there was such an event or such a thing as a "Swiss ball".

An official Guinness World Record!

The Guinness World Record title is: Farthest distance travelled rolling on Swiss balls. Total distance: 77.85 m (255 ft 4.96 in). I'm proud to be a pioneer of Swiss ball surfing.

A huge thanks to my family and girlfriend - this would not have been possible without you!

They have the most ridiculous world records now. They were always a novelty but at least they stayed within the realm of things people would actually do. Now they are just looking for ways to stay relevant by feeding off a bunch of unremarkable people who will do anything for their own 15 minutes of fame.

Imagine surfing on a circular track with a team of people to reset the balls ahead of the surfer... it would require speed, agility, and physical endurance from all the players.

But it might be worth a chuckle if you got really uncoordinated people to do it. There would be balls and bodies flying everywhere.
