No love for the Walking Dead Finale? Come on, it was good. SPOILERS

Eugene pulled it off. I couldn't stop laughing with joy because things finally started to go towards the light and in an unexpected way. He convinced me that he was on Negan's side when he didn't try to stop him from killing the priest.

Loved the way all the camps finally came together to go in a totally new direction -- and I agree with Maggie. Negan will always be a problem as long as he's alive. Maggie was very convincing as the grieving widow and will not stop until she gets her revenge.

Interesting question on Talking Dead: If Negan had killed Carl instead of Glenn, would Rick still have allowed Negan to live. He said No, because Negan is only alive because of Carl's request. So, expect Maggie and Daryl to look for justice. Not sure how Jesus got pulled into that group.

And I really, really loved the hand-off to Fear the Walking Dead. I liked Morgan's two new travel companions and I KNOW I'm going to love it when he finally stands in as the father figure to Nick. Nick was really pissing me off last season because he should have been off'd for the things he did.

Seeing the clip on Talking Dead for the next episode of FTWD, it looks like we are going to see a scenario where WD won't see for at least two more years. A fortress, though they are going to battle much better equipped foes.

1. It was a great season finale and having Morgan on Fear makes the show.

I'm going to start watching Fear again. Maggie has to be the one to kill Negan I can't wait.

2. You know the show is about done when "Talking Dead" is more entertaining than TWD.

Negan should have killed Rick!

He had him dead cold bat ready, but no, another speech, 10 sec countdown and cue miracle escape that leads to slashed throat that is easily patched up with a band-aid.....complete bullshit.

I'd love for Maggie to turn into another Guvernor, that would be interesting at least

yeah, Fear is much better, looks good with Morgan, more unpredictable, better stories and more realism

Chris really knows how to think fast on his feet and his nerd-speak is very endearing.

That was a great exchange with the new guy, Garret Dillahunt? He ad libbed that he turned down the role for Negan, which gave everyone an unguarded moment of laughter. For a moment you got to see what it must be like on set with this crew.

He said that he was playing a character that he liked from a pilot that he was on that never was picked up. He is very likeable on and off screen.

I have slowly come to like Maggie Grace as an actor. Was not too impressed with her on Lost. Got a little more respect for her on Twilight because I knew she was taking on an unpopular role. Then, I thought she would be too old to play a teen on Taken, but she really pulled off the gawky, lanky kid role.

She's coming to FTWD with a totally new persona. And, so far, it's working for her.

7. It was good. I was happy for Eugene because Rosita would have killed him happily.

...and I would have cheered his dying for being a traitor. Eugene was brave in the end. Killing Rick and Maggie and the rest would have removed the potential for good from the equation. Negan was only as strong as his followers were weak. Whereas Rick and the rest are stronger together, freely giving of themselves for the good of the group.

But I disagree with Maggie.

It was her father that got Rick to thinking a certain way after Rick fell into a bad way of seeing things. Carl had just killed another child who was surrendering.

So Rick, being Rick, went to the other extreme and put his gun away to work with Carl. He could have kept his gun and still showed Carl a better way. But maybe not - that gun is symbolic of Rick - which is why it was always a point that he got it back and it's his weapon of choice - law and order, former sheriff, man of integrity. That particular gun was Rick.

The lessons of Hershel stayed with Rick because Rick loved and respected Hershel.

Lori died - told Carl to stay good. In the face of everything - stay good. Stay decent.

All of Carl's teachers, all of his true parental figures, gave him the same lesson - Stay human. Keep your humanity.

Even Michonne.

His last - dying - wish for his father - show mercy. Stay good. Keep your humanity - look for what's better.

Maggie has forgotten the teachings of her father. Even Glenn would agree. Despite his fear for his growing family and despite what he did to the Saviors (Glenn's first human kill) - at heart, Glenn would agree with mercy - with the chance given for good.

Maggie and Daryl want revenge. Revenge isn't justice to my way of thinking.

But Daryl is capable of mercy (He's not Merle and never has been) - he let Dwight go to find his wife.

Of course there will be problems with keeping Negan in jail - same as in the Graphic novel....but that's to be expected. But redemption is a big part of the show. So...

But to turn on your family? Nah...ain't nothing good about that. Pitting people who have lost so much against each other for the sake of personal revenge? Stupid move. Tears the group apart and causes them to be less prepared for the next threat. They are stronger together.

Because of Glenn's humanity, Rick is alive.

Carl's humanity - even in death - is keeping Negan alive.

Because of Hershel's humanity, Carl and Rick became stronger - could see beyond their own survival to what matters - people.

8. In concept, retaining your humanity and going the route of forgiveness sounds like the way

we want it to go. But, as many times as this show has seen that people can redeem themselves, so we have seen how someone who was given a second chance has turned around and caused someone's death.

So, next year may come down to events that will either give Negan redemption, or, he will get away and cause trouble. And I dearly hope it's not the latter because he has run the course of the WD baddie du jour.

I want to find out what is up with that helicopter. Apparently, Anne the garbage queen still has secrets to reveal.

9. I want to know about that, too.

Bigger threat coming, most likely. There's more to Anne than we've seen so far. That's good because she is interesting. To me anyway. She'll have to back off her Rick lust though. Could get ugly.

Throughout the show, doing the decent thing has backfired from time to time. As in real life. Redemption, maintaining your humanity...major themes in the show - with people being the primary strength.

Carl pegged Negan - one of the reasons Carl's words to Negan pissed him off so badly. The other being Negan suspecting they knew Carl's words would have an effect on him - so he had to react with anger to save face. Not to say his anger wasn't real but that his anger was like the socks on the floor. Couples fight over the socks left on the floor, masking the real issues - angry about other things and the socks act as the stand in for the actual problems. That and the mutiny within his own camp. But truly, Negan thought more of Carl than anyone in his own camp.

Negan gave more away than he knew when he talked with Carl and tried to scare/humiliate him him. Carl was smart enough to see underneath.

Maggie's face whenever someone would come up to her and thank her or praise her - the doubts played across Maggie's face. One reason she said so little back or wondered aloud if such was true. Maggie knows she's going against her father. She knows she's going against her own core beliefs. Maggie will come down on the right side - unless her contract negotiations go badly. (lol)
