Harry Anderson has died.

I don’t know much but he died in his home in Asheville NC this morning. I had a bit of a crush on him, even though he clashed with folks in New Orleans post Katrina over governance in the Quarter, where he’d opened a club and magic shop. He didn’t get that he was him and they were them and he couldn’t come in and have instant street cred there. That said, he was a master of the patter and sleight of hand, a funny man and I am really, really sad he’s gone.

It was based on the writings of Dave Barry. Harry played Dave. It was light-hearted and well written. Sad to see that Harry has passed away. Godspeed, sir.

I'm very sorry to hear it. I basically stopped watching TV in the late 80's, so Harry Anderson is still very fresh and young-looking in my mind.
