med marijuana questions as to the law in various states

My wife is in constant pain ... medicaid will not pay for some of the only drugs that help ... opiates will help, but they are increasingly unavailable (did you know that there is an opioid crisis ... namely, people that use them responsibly and need them to function are not able to get them or can't get them in a quantity that will do any good ). And the pain only gets worse.

We were scheduled to go see a pain specialist earlier this week, hoping that she could get him to sign off on mm for her (we are in arkansas) She called before the appointment to ask about what he needs to do that and was told that if is involved w/ marijuana in any form that he will drop her as a patient. She said "I'll save him the trouble."

So anyway, we are still trying to get certified here in ar., but I don't know if that will do any good as I am not sure it is even available.

I was wondering what the laws are now in different states, as well as how to access it in those states. A road trip is not out of the question. Feel free to pm me.

Thanks.

For medical or recreational purposes. We started out in 2012 with medical only, and in 2014 became "legal". There are growing restrictions, of course, and some possession of huge quantity prescriptions. But we have very nice and clean retail stores, many with different brands and strengths of the pot, and accessories (I saw THE most gorgeous bong the other day!)

Some issues arise, as is normal for any new venture, but our politicians seem to be open to suggestion. Here's a link to the statutes:

Here's links to a couple of the local stores to show the retail end:

It's horribly frustrating and time consuming to find enlightened physicians in a state that has lots of restrictions, a reason I'm glad we were all so proactive here. Now with emphasis on the great tax revenue, even the RWNJ's are complacent. Some parts of the new statutes are confusing, and everyone seems to be working to clear the air.

If you'd like to PM me, ashling, I'll be happy to do anything I can to help. Lots of times just taking a copy of some articles like the above to your physician can help make a difference. Please pass my best wishes to your lovely spouse (Steve says him too!) A long road trip may not be necessary - we know folks everywhere!

Sending good karma your way - along with a few Aurora, which are barely shimmering because it's snowing....again.....LOL! I knew what I was getting into when I chose to live here, lo these many many many many years ago!
