Anyone know how to block posts requiring "social apps" from Facebook feeds?

I swear, I am fed to the back teeth with clicking something in my feed and, instead of getting the article, picture, website, etc., getting routed to some damn' "social app" signup popup.

I now just hide or delete all these rude posts, but it feels like playing whack-a-mole some days, so many of the people in my feed are farting around with recipe apps and reading apps and image display/sort apps and all the rest.

It's fine if they want to futz with that stuff, but don't put it in my feed, please. I want to see their ordinary "Wow, we're here visiting Grandma and there's a beautiful bird at the feeder" posts, but not their "I just read this cool article on Mambo-dancing Icelandic Software Engineers!" ones.

Is there any way to turn off a preference, or uncheck a "post this kind of post to your feed" box or something that will make them all go away?
