I scored big time I had to make a wine run. For my wife and her friends they are educated winos. Anyway on way home I cut through this development and it was a community yard sale. I saw rods and stopped I just scored two penn 716 spinfishers and a pluegler xt something. I never owned a pfluegler but I love penn the American made spinning reels. I have quite a few penn 700 the old greenies or blue and quite a few others black and gold. Nostalgia you hear that bell ring a sound from my youth. . I mostly use Shimano medium for bass as well. But trout and bass as well I love using ultralight set up. Ok Im rambling the boys jamming with friends Im on grill duty. And my wife and friends are getting juiced.

(7,512 posts)I look at some of the stuff and am amazed they did so much with such rudimentary equipment. I collect watches and the movements made 150 years ago. Just blow me away the hand work engraving engine turning on movements is truly amazing. I view old firearms in the same light. They are works of art.
