Since I haven't posted any photos in . . . years I think. From last night in Lowell, MA

David Crosby, Chris Hillman (co-founder of the Byrds, Flying Burrito Bros., etc.) and Herb Pedersen (The Dillards, Desert Rose Band, etc.)

Best show I've seen in years. Crosby's still got it.

As one of them (age wise), I love seeing these “old” guys still making music.

No one knew it at the time, but the album...in addition to being a fine, solid effort befitting Hillman's legacy...ended up being released 10 days before the death of Tom Petty, making it the final studio recording of Tom's lifetime (it was preceded by the second Mudcrutch album in 2016).

Produced by Tom Petty & Executive Produced by Herb Pedersen

Featuring David Crosby, Roger McGuinn, Mike Campbell, Mark Fain, Steve Ferrone, John Jorgenson, Josh Jové, Jay Dee Maness, Benmont Tench, and Gabe Witcher

Hillman (w/Pedersen) was actually the opening act (and joined Croz for several songs).

They played this song (and talked a lot about Petty).
