Several Steps from Someone who was Not born in a pickle barrel:
1. Drink beverages with as small amount of "impurities" as possible. My understand for liquor is that Vodka is the "cleanest". From own experience for beer is as light as possible. I can't stand any lighter than Coors regular myself, so try as light as you can. I've never seen a req for a "cleaner" wine. I would appreciate any reqs from DU on this.
2. Drink only the equivalent of one light beer (5% or less) in a hour for men. A bit longer for women.
3. Don't worry about a hangover. You deserve another drink tonight! Now have fun!

Been stuck at her house -- my childhood home -- for two months now. She broke her leg at that time. I've been here staying here to help.
The leg is hers, but the misery is mine, and the Bacardi has sure been helping me through it. A few (or more) shots whenever I felt the need. It's positively delicious straight up! And no hangovers at all.

PASHMAN: At the Planet Money team, we thought that sounded so easy. Can we make our own premium vodka? We learned that a lot of companies actually buy a vodka concentrate in bulk from a handful of suppliers. Then they just add water. So we've got a hold of a sample, brought it here into the studio...

PASHMAN: ...Added some water...

PASHMAN: ...And sent it to a lab along with a sample of Grey Goose and a sample of some of the cheapest stuff we could find. A few days later, we got a call from Neva Parker. She's the vice president at White Labs in San Diego. She ran our vodkas through what they call a comprehensive spirits test.
Based on that information, Neva, which of these three vodkas would you suspect should be the cheapest, least-desirable vodka?
NEVA PARKER: If I had to choose based on this analysis alone, I would say number one.
PASHMAN: That was the Grey Goose. And the ultra luxury choice...
PARKER: Number three.
PASHMAN: Number three was the cheap stuff. Now, to be fair, Neva did say the differences in all three samples weren't anything most people were going to taste. She compared the reports.
