for this....about one cat cherisher from another

I have 5 and a dog. When I had my house, I took care of 17 cats in a feral colony. I saved them all in a very harsh winter one time. I took care of them for 5 years then life changed things and I had to trap them and take them to farms I asked to take them as barn cats. I and my friend, Gerald did it. He lived in the farm area. We tried to give them a chance to survive. I do think about them and hope they did okay.

they had 5 years of care, they would not had if not for you. You did good. But I know how hard it is to care for animals and then have to give them up.

I had a feral cat I took care of, food/water/ makeshift shelter. And low and behold, doesn't she show up with her litter of 3 beautiful kittens. I continued to feed them as she weaned them off mothers milk. At first, she always stood by as the kits ate and would only eat after they were finished. But as they got bigger, she began to push them out of the way and would eat first. There was one who absolutely loved her Mom and the mom completely ignored her. It broke my heart. I was finally able to get the 3 kits in a carrier and took them to the local Humane society. I cried all the way home, they were the most beautiful little kittens.
