There is nothing better.

Using bacon for that is fine for the first four or five days, but after that it's no good.

(I don't eat meat now, but I've never liked bacon. Even the smell of it makes me sick).

If you want to improve on that, add smoked salmon but never bacon.

The combo, though I know it sounds bad, is bigger than the sum of its parts and makes something truly divine.
