I woke up this morning with my furry princess laying on top of me, purring away.

It's one way cats show that they love you - they claim you as their own by scent-marking you so other cats know they can't have you.

I had a cat (black, no less) that would wend (?) her way between my ankles, rubbing at every opportunity, while we walked down a dark hallway. I always hoped that she had a better motive than just trying to trip me up, which is what seemed like.
