I've been depressed and now have a new worry

My dad had to go back on chemo and we're worried about the lung tumor and his hip tumor. Still having money problems. Did a GoFundMe and some relatives responded nicely, but that only goes so far. Doctor ran tests because also not feeling good and getting little sleep. Blood test ok except for slightly elevated white blood cells, and urine test was fine. But had a little blood in my stool test. Now I am a little worried due to dad's colon cancer history. I have been having some bowel problems. Just had to vent. I keep hoping things get better!

But please take care of yourself. Colon cancer is one of the more curable cancers if detected early enough, so please follow your doctor's orders! I'm a breast cancer survivor .... I know somewhat how you are feeling.

Not looking forward to it, but it is necessary. It would be awful if I also have colon cancer.. thank you very much for the hopeful post!

14. Worse part of a colonoscopy is the prep.

But that's just one day of inconvenience to have a test that could ease your mind, or worse case scenario, if something is found, to get you on treatment so you can live many, many good years.

All the best to you and your Dad.

My grandfather used to say "there's no shame in getting old, but it's mighty inconvenient."

Another worry of mine is my hunger is definitely not the same. Less for sure. I am hoping it's nervous stomach from the anxiety and depression I have had for months.

Has my anxiety and depression super high and the medicine I take can sometimes make me even sleepier. Something is taking away my good sleep. At least today was a good day politically.

Then I guess the colonoscopy can be scheduled. I hope I can have my fears addressed sooner.
