Fuck DirectTV. I cancelled a month ago effective the last day of July. Assholes send me an invoice

three days into August even though there was no service. Additionally, they advised me that within 24 hours I would receive packaging to return their equipment. That was three weeks ago. Today I packed up their shit and took it to a local electronics recycler.

I’m out of control!

Absolutely the worse I've ever called. When we asked to be switched to the manager, it only got worse, and he hung up on us.

Whenever I have needed customer service, the techs have bent over backwards to make sure I was completely satisfied.

Our account was in my wife’s name and linked to her SSN, etc. she passed away last March and I wanted to change the account to my name. Called them. They promptly just stopped the service altogether. Called again to fix that. They started a new account. Lost the phone number we’d had for 35 years. Called again to get my old number back. Took at least six calls. They sent me a new modem which I didn’t need or want. Made a trip to UPS to send it back. Kept the tracking info. Got billed for the new modem anyway. They had no record of it being returned. Several more phone calls to get that charge removed. Never a word of sympathy or condolences.

When I called, first: no answer until fourth call, They had no clue what I was talking about, they offered nothing that I wanted, and they seemed irritated when I asked the questions everybody else who is seeking service asks.
