Nah Nah Nah, Na Nah!

More than one or two bites these days and I don't feel so well.

I guess we're all told that a few bites should be enough, but these days it's hard to find someone to sell you a cone with just one scoop. The "baby" cones look like they've been made for a sumo wrestler. Seems like a big waste of money to me.

When I was young, there was a local farm that made their own peach ice cream. I sometimes look for peach ice cream in the stores because if I buy it at the store I can bring it home and control myself. I never find it. I did find some frozen fruit bars in peach flavor and they're wonderful... but nothing like that peach ice cream of my youth.

I haven't had a real banana split in ages, but I will sometimes cut up a banana and put it over vanilla ice cream w/ walnuts, chocolate sauce and whipped cream in a small bowl and it's just heavenly! I also like to add berries - raspberries, strawberries, blueberries - to the mix.

....Just vanilla ice cream, lots of real hot fudge, NOT warmed over chocolate sauce. A few nuts, but NO whipped cream. And the cherry on top, please!
