However, I see Howard Hughes as a risk taker who eventually developed OCD (Some feel that his OCD was actually a physical reaction to complex regional pain after a plain crash - like not wanting to cut his nails because they hurt) In order to accomplish what he did with aviation he had to be ambitious risk-taker with obsessive tendencies. (That's just life and is true for Edison, Tesla, Einstein etc)

I'm just more obsessive and it tends to hamper risk-taking.
