Fixated on the producer Gnesa slept with to get this song cut. Double Take reminded me far too much of Julie Brown's "Blond," with its lyric, "I can't spell V-W, but I drive a Porsche." Brown was, of course, playing the satire for laughs; Double Take seem serious about it.

For general performance, insipidness, and worst cultural (mis)appropriation since Gwen Stefani hired four Japanese women to be her crew so she could say things like, "Kawaii (Cute)," it would have to be this one:

For general squickiness, and I don't give a fuck that it was, "A different time," I'd have to go with the Christmas Date Rape song, "Baby, It's Cold Outside."

She genuinely cannot sing. Like, at all. It’s bizarre.

And the whole Harajuka Girls thing was painfully inappropriate.

Every Breath You Take (or as I call it, The Stalker Soung) as a song that's fun to dance to but if you actually listen to the words it reflects someone, that IMO, needs some psychological help. Stalking is NOT cool.

As for DOA... The first time I heard it I was around 11 and in bed with my radio on. My mom was in and out of the hospital so the sound of an ambulance would kick my adrenaline into hyper drive add to that the lyrics and I still can't listen to it for more than a minute max.

***WARNING***...
If you're empathetic or triggered by sirens or such I HIGHLY suggest you do NOT listen to this.

Sounds like the 'experience' of being at the concert might have been better than the concert.

That wasn't bad visually since the song is bad enough (at least for some of us ).

The cover of John Bult's "Julie's Sixteenth Birthday" always makes compilations of "Worst Album Covers." The song is worse.

Sounds like they aren't big label artists.

Here's a super lame one, that made me change the dial:
