(267 posts)I was always more of a Lennon fan, and I must admit that my defenses kicked in toward the beginning when I thought he was taking too much credit for songs that I always felt were attributed to John. It's good to see him relaxed and talking about making music though. Important to get a record of as many stories like this as possible now. I just wish we had a chance to hear John's version too.

(3,286 posts)...with John and Yoko a year or so before he died where he explained the genesis of many of their songs. Maybe it is in hindsight, but at the time it seemed as if he was 'tidying up' the process of writing music, before he left.
