What a week, my on-line family.

Monday was the finale after Sandi, my 70 yo landlady passed from brain cancer. I have rented my room for 4 years and observed the decline. Looking at you Sen. McCain's family. I looked in and two hours later when I checked, she was gone.

Of course my car decided this was the week for my catalytic converter to split. The starter was going and the vacuum hoses were rot?

No sniveling! It's a 2000 BMW Z-3 Roadster. I will never have another car since this one is a joy to drive,

Two thousand total. BMW's are excellent driving. That's why I did a body paint, seat and top replacement three years ago.

One payment to go and the car blows me up.

I'm 63 and of the car generation. My car has to be right!

I also miss Sandi. She left me her Shi Tsu. Muttley!

Love the mutt!

Rant off. Thank you if you read this.

RIP, Sandi - sorry you had to go, dear lady, but glad your suffering has ended.

Am I understanding correctly that your converter took a dive, but that you had the two thou to get it fixed? - we’ll call that “bad news/good news”, shall we?

And best of all, hugs and belly-rubs to lil MUTTLEY!!! She won’t be shuttled off to some strange and confusing shelter, wondering what in the hell happened to her fabulous little life with Sandi, but rather will get to keep living happily in a familiar environment, thanks to YOU!!! (and if Muttley is indeed a boy, my apologies!)

Hang tough, Dem, you’ve had quite an alarming week!

His name is Darby and is a five year old spoiled mutt! He loves carrots and green beans.

Are you old enough to remember Dick Dastardly and his Magnificent Flying Machines?

The dog was Muttley.

One call, fifteen minutes, one e-mailed doc and the money was in my account in an hour.

Scary? I like most only have a thousand in savings. My car is my baby since the house went in 2008.

I couldn't afford a BMW these days. I'm hoping the Z-3 will be a classic. Seven years to go.
