Does anyone know what would cause crippling bone pain

in pretty much every part of your body...worse upon wakening?

Cannot take NSAIDS/anti inflammatories, so the only opiate they can prescribe is Tylenol with codeine. I won't take more than 2 per day because I fear getting hooked, and they don't really help that much anyway.

Known arthritis in spine. Negative for rheumatoid. Negative for Lyme Disease. Pain in elbows, knees, back, fingers, forearms. Neurological symptoms...insomnia, hand and arm tremors, high startle response. Negative brain MRI (no brain found haha).

I'm not asking for medical advice really, just asking if anyone else ever experienced this. Might as well because the specialists do not know what the fuck is going on.

I bring a lot of joy to the world, so I worry when I am not at the top of my game.

There's no real test for it. Mostly diagnosed by excluding everything else.

I'm suspecting that the spinal arthritis is having an impact on some one or more nerves.

Is the pain the same on both sides (left/right)?

Any possible diabetes or endocrincological issues?

Other than back pain, it sounds like the other pain is distal, like elbows to fingers, is that right? What about shoulders and hips?

The pain is horrible. It is severe in my legs and feet and also effects the rest of my body, esp. the spine.

I have MS and that is the cause of it.

I cannot take NSAIDS either. I was taking large doses of them (RX'd) and I almost died as they ate a hole through my large intestine.

The only thing that helps is strong pain killers which can be difficult to come by with this War on Drugs B.S.

As for cannabis, it does not help this symptom much at all I am sorry to say. I've tried the tinctures which I can get specially made for myself but they seem to have little effect (tincture is the equivalent of Sativex, a drug sold in the EU and the UK for persons with MS. It is called the "One to One" tincture (1/2 CBD to 1/2 THC -- hence the 50/50 mix).

As for the other symptoms, they sound a bit like MS to me. The pain moves around a lot depending upon how tired I am. MS is different for everyone as no two cases are ever alike.

I also have a sleep disorder, that is why I am up at 4:00 a.m. today.

Hope the OP finds some relief. It is difficult to say the least.

It gave me tendinitis all over my body. It feels like your bones hurt, but it’s your tendons that are affected.

My symptoms are like yours:
My body gets quite stiff and when I first move it takes a few steps before I can move with a little more ease.
It is painful! All the time.
Because the tendons are stiff I am off balance sometimes and if turn too suddenly I will stagger.
The body has dozens of tendons and ligaments with the hands and feet having the most. I have diminished strength in my grip and physical activity like lifting things, will make the pain worse while doing it.

Doctors gave me Tylenol too, but only extra strength and don’t take more than 2 in the am and 2 in the pm. Tylenol can have very bad side effects for your brain if you take too much.

I use Arnica which is a natural plant gel for the pain and it works quite well. I can move around pretty well when I rub it in. I buy it from Amazon but you can find it in drugstores.

I rub the gel in from head to foot most of the time. I have pain in my neck, my shoulders, my entire arms and hands as well as my back, legs and feet. It truly helps, even for arthritis or any other kind of pain.

I’ll add that the drug also gave me fuzzy feet which is a term you can actually google, along with “Floxed”. It’s the tingly feeling you get when your feet are half asleep. Walking is a different and unpleasant sensation. Uneven surfaces are painful and difficult to navigate.

I hope you find out what it is, but at least you should try rubbing arnica gel all over.

First, I'm sorry to hear about your pain. I understand how horrible it is, and it is difficult to explain it to anyone.

I've been on a million antibiotics over the years, so I am going to research this further. The problem I think has to do with fragmented treatment. If you complain about your knee, the orthopedic doc might do an xray on your knee. If you complain about your back, your GP will do an xray on your back because insurance won't pay for an MRI unless you have had an xray done first. It is very hard to find someone who will put all of your symptoms together.

What you are saying about tendons and ligaments makes sense to me. My forearm pain has been diagnosed as tendinitis. My back pain has been diagnosed as arthritis. When my knee gets better, my back gets worse, etc.

I will do the Google searched you recommended. Thank you!

13. Fifth Disease?

I am not a medical professional, but the entire family of one of my relatives had Fifth Disease, with crippling joint pain for the adults and nothing but a rash and minor aches and pains for the 3 kids. The adult male missed three weeks of work. No one could go over and help because they were apparently contagious. It's a virus. Google can give you some answers to see if your symptoms match. Good luck!

15. Have you had your thyroid checked?

I had some of the symptoms you're describing, although not as severe as yours sound. Had aches and pains and insomnia accompanied by anxiety. I don't remember what I was googling about at the time but I ended up on a page about iodine deficiency. Realized that the salt I've been using for years (kosher salt) contains no iodine. Iodine deficiency affects thyroid function with can cause a whole bunch of problems. I went out an bought some iodized table salt and an iodine supplement and the aches and pains disappeared and I'm sleeping A LOT better. Used to take me HOURS to fall asleep and I'd be lying there freaking out with anxiety. I fall asleep within an hour now. Hope this is something that can help with with at least some of your symptoms. But, of course, talk to your doctor first in case you have any issues with salt.

hopefully you can find a doctor who can solve this mystery for you.

Please tell us what it is when they do.
Based on the answers here in it sounds like it could any number of things that have similar symptoms.

I have recently begun taking CBD oil for arthritic pain and it seems to be helping.
