Attractive little thing, too. She hardly moved for several hours, even though I was creating quite a ruckus, ripping up & replacing decking.
This little guy must have felt quite put upon. He'd run and hide a foot or two away, then I'd come right behind and uncover him.

(23,322 posts)Im terrified of them but I dont kill them. The do all kids of good in my garden. I catch and release the ones in my house...just in case theres karma involved with that kind of thing. Who knows, I could come back as a spider if I dont treat them with respect. ☯️🔞

They DO seem like putting webs in door ways, tho, I have to move them to other spots often.
