and might start "sticking" by tonight. Only a week after the equinox, kind of odd timing. Migratory birds took off weeks early too.

(2,795 posts)I'm in Colorado and there has been snow in the high country but nothing down here yet. But I saw a memory of mine pop up on FB from 2yrs ago Sept 12 where I uploaded video of snow flurries.
I'm ok if the snow holds off till Nov or Dec.

(86,673 posts)about 60 miles north of the 45th parallel about 5Kft. We've had snow on the peaks above 6Kft for about a week. This is the first it's made it to the ground, it's lingering in the grass. We've only had our first frost about ten days ago. But the leaves started showing serious signs of changing over three weeks ago, the Osprey left early, the cranes left early, the pelicans and swans left early and harvest timing is off. Four weeks ago it was in the 90s nearly every day.
