Any October events or special dates?

I don't go to "Oktoberfest," and I don't celebrate Halloween.

But I do like my annual pilgrimage to the Kettle Moraine, to see the trees changing color.

And there's a toy catalog I get a kick out of from Fleet and Farm, I get every October, it's enjoyable to look at the fads an follies in the toy lines.

Tim Horton's does a fine chicken sandwich and chicken noodle soup if you get stuck in downtown Toronto on that night.
