(21,716 posts)But I'm not sure I would have the courage to run down that ramp. I tried hang gliding when I was in college, and I was pretty unsuccessful at getting off the ground, got tons of bruises, and was sore as could be the next day

(23,102 posts)I choose safety. Was considering doing this, but my friend tried one time and broke her arm in 5 places and will never regained the use of her right hand from the massive damage. No thanks!

(3,268 posts)Unknown terrain below the clouds. About half of all air crashes in Alaska involve flight into terrain...If I'm gonna die I suppose it's better as a surprise, but still...
