(22,037 posts)She's a smart writer.
She's a talented actor.
She's attractive and can use that attribute to communicate.
She's also, obviously, a smart businesswoman.

(65,060 posts)When she was still doing stand up, she was a scream.
One of my favorite bits: "I was walking through the woods and near a little stream i see a little baby deer. I'm looking at that and just amazed at how wonderful and natural that was. All by myself seeing that beautiful scene. And i said to myself, 'I wish i had a ............................................................
Gun". She caught me so by surprise with that tag line i sprayed beer out of my nose.

(3,275 posts)They each had their own sketch comedy shows which I liked. I also love Samantha Bee, Tina Fey, Amy Schumer, Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig and Amy Poehler. Honestly, there are lots of talented female stand up comedians, comedy actors and comedy writers in the US. There are also many in Great Britain and Ireland that I like a lot.
