load. 1/2 the time now, at those sites I just click out of them; and that is a problem because usually the page starts to freeze up and it's hard to close the tab

they have at least four auto-run videos on each page view which slows my 'puter down to a crawl. I've complained to no avail.

Same nowadays with many news web sites and Twitter pages, although news sites usually only run one auto-start video per page.

I think they're doing this for the sake of smart phone uses that I assume are too damn lazy to click on the "start" arrow....

USPS.com is maddening these days, as well as Outlook Express and many others. I've had to tell myself often that we didn't always live in an instant world.
