(5,493 posts)I have 2 rescues at home and they are the most lovable creatures you would ever want to meet.
It's no wonder that people get so upset when dogs (or any other house pet) are mistreated. They give you unconditional love. They love you no matter what. That can't be said of certain family members......

(51,627 posts)are going to get 75% of my assets when I die. That is if there is any left since I have the ACA and if it is taken away I will have to declare bankruptcy since I am ill and will need surgeries to stop some of the excruciating pain that comes with my condition. I don't have kids and my doggies have given me more happiness than anyone in my life. My ashes are being scattered in the same spot as my dogs' are too. I even drew a map and it is in my trust. My attorney said that tons of people are doing this now.

(15,139 posts)He's devastated. Whoever helped themselves to his dog might as well have ripped out his heart. He has put up posters far and wide, alerted hundreds of vet offices, blanketed social media, even arranged an interview on local tv, but so far nothing. Not knowing where his dog is and how he's being treated is the worst. And, yes, you are right. Too many humans fall way short of canines in the loyal and loving department.

(9,426 posts)"Never trust a man who does not like dogs" I would add "women" and "cats" to that statement. How anyone could abuse an animal is beyond me. They love deeply, and forever no matter what.

What a wonderful clip. These short videos are what sometimes help me make it through the perfectly awful news we get every day since Nov. 2016.
