I couldn't get through The Punisher...

...or Luke Cage 2...or Jessica Jones 2, for that matter. I barely survived Iron Fist 2 and I had to be strapped down Clockwork-Orange-style to finish The Defenders.

Are any of these required watching in order to understand Daredevil 3, or do they not matter, and can I enjoy DD in blissful ignorance of those others?

DD 3 picks up where Defenders left off. Shouldn't be a problem. Midnight Writer Oct 2018 #1

DD, Luke Cage, Irion Fist all lost me mid-way through. Most of these would be much better if they dropped a couple of episodes. They all feel stretched and the storylines give way by E5 or 6.

IMO.
