Bulldoze Blues -1928- Henry Thomas. He was famous for playing a wicked set of quills





Canned heat couldn't come with any quills, but I'm guessing they found the cool flute in a Los Angles pawn shop. The actually flute licks on the recording were lain down by 'Wrecking Crew' session musician Jim Horn.
