(12,132 posts)so I am beholden to name-brand products. I just don't want the store brand or generic of anything. I was all excited to shop in an ALDI and then went in and saw all the fake versions of real cereals and I left, L-ingOL.
BUT
I will fight anybody who doesn't agree that Publix peanut butter is the best peanut butter in the US.

(12,132 posts)It ain't right to fight a fella that hasn't had a chance yet to experience the wonders of Publix peanut butter.
but if you get down south and see a Publix, go in and get yourself some kick-ass peanut butter.
which reminds me of church in my youth. Our church was real big on sending missionaries all over the place. They preached that everyone who didn't get saved was going to hell. But I think they agreed that native tribes who never even heard of christianity wouldn't be held accountable for not being saved. Yet they sent missionaries to tell them anyway! I always that was a dick move. Leave them people alone! If you don't go and tell them they get a free pass. If you do go and tell them and they say no, well now you got a poor bastard burning in hell that otherwise would have been fine.
So, sorry for telling you about Publix peanut butter - but now you know so keep that on your list for next time you travel south!

(11,686 posts)It is not as sweet and stronger in hazelnut flavor. I have been eating Nutella since I lived in Germany way before it came to the states. 42 years ago. Sitting down in front of the TV and watching the news while licking spoonfuls of Hazelnut sread makes the news a little easier to swallow. 😊
