Every November, I think of it. RIP sailors and thank you to Gordon Lightfoot for memorializing them in song.

Split Rock Lighthouse is on the North Shore of Lake Superior near Two Harbors, Mn. Every November 10th they light it around 4:30pm in memory of the sinking.
Even though the summer crowds are gone from the North Shore now, hundreds show up to see the lighting of the lighthouse.
