Why is hard liquor, wine, and beer never sold in plastic containers,

When nearly everything else, Including but not limited to, carbonated drinks, milk, ketchup, mayonnaise, fruit juices, etc., is sold in plastic containers?

IME Hard liquor and wine are always sold in glass containers. Bear can be either bottles or can.

( haven’t had anything to drink in years so some of the stuff might’ve changed.)

Those boxes hold a lot of wine. And the wine is good. Great for a small group get together.

Not a problem if you are using TOPICAL isopropyl or other alcohol, but I surely wouldn't want to DRINK it.

I'm sure there will be those who say they've seen it or bought it and I'm sure there is a market for it, but my points remain. Plastic leaches.

What some would consider value priced brands all come in plastic containers. Miller Lite, Jim Beam, too many “box” wines to list.

And before anyone looks down their nose on me ....... There are some very good varieties out there. Plus, it's way cheaper than bottles.

Wine is a plasic bag in a box. You can get beer in plastic bottles. And you can find liquor in plastic bottles everywhere.

Turns out it was plastic. The guy who did it was shocked at the discovery and the dude who was clocked initially thought he had been hit with a glass bottle. Both just stood there giving each other dumb looks for a moment until the chaos resumed.

A Deplorable was walking down a wintry sidewalk with a pint of whiskey in his back pocket. He stepped on a patch of ice, lost footing, and fell on his ass.

Within seconds, he felt a puddle of liquid forming around him. The Deplorable looked up.

"Dear God," he said, "please let that be blood."

The little "airline" size things are nearly all plastic now, and the box wines have a plastic bladder in them.

Now, as to beer, the only plastic container i've ever seen are those mini-kegs. But don't recall ever seeing a 12 or 16 ounce container of beer in plastic.
