When driving in the snow does anyone else think, "Yeah, this is like light speed!"

Parsecs are units of distance not time
par·sec
/ˈpärsek/Submit
noun
a unit of distance used in astronomy, equal to about 3.26 light years (3.086 × 1013 kilometers). One parsec corresponds to the distance at which the mean radius of the earth's orbit subtends an angle of one second of arc.
This was pointed out to me at a Star Wars viewing party once. The force was STRONG with those people.

I used to practice a mental discipline we called "merging." It was a way of connecting our minds to other minds and to the Cosmos in general. I remember several times driving down the freeway in a blizzard at 70 mph, easily anticipating the decisions of the surrounding drivers. I knew what they were going to do before they did.
Light speed, indeed.

(57,617 posts)The temperature is 35 degrees F here. It feels cold enough, but it isn't. You get the snow this time. There's no precipitation here at all that I can tell.
