I have pneumonia

So PLEASE, if it's recommended to you, get the shot.
Took a while to get it diagnosed, but the meds are working fast, and I hope to be better soon. The fatigue is unreal, and the coughing rattles your whole body.
Still have cards and stuff to mail!

I'm glad you're under treatment. take it easy--the fatigue is a sign your body is working overtime to get rid of the disease.

I hope you're back in the saddle soon and feeling much better.

and anyone that is immuno-compromised. I think it is a two shot series taken 1-year apart...not sure if you need boosters after that. Well worth it!

The first time was WAY worse than the 2nd time.

But, when i was around 20 i got pleurisy. That was WAY worse than either time with the pneumonia. True pain around the entire torso. Just breathing made it hurt.

Get well soon, Penny

My sister-in-law brought me to the emergency room with my oxygen level so low I would have died in two more hours without help. I was in the hospital 3 weeks. I did not realize how bad I was at the time. My sister-in-law saved my life.

Best friend right now is my iPad and Kindle app...I started the V.I. Warshawski detective series and it's a hoot.
I go back to the doc tomorrow and he'll see if I'm getting better fast enough (TWO antibiotics, if you please).

I'm just over the flu and I was a bit concerned about developing pneumonia. Thankfully that didn't happen.

Best wishes to you!

Your body is using a lot of energy to fight the pneumonia.

Please take care of yourself and don't worry about the cards and other things. Just work on getting better. The other things can wait.

Take care!
