Mine is Knott's Berry Farm Boysenberry Preserves.
I can only order it online from Smuckers now. And it took more than a month for them to deliver it. I was really going through withdrawals.

(26,262 posts)It is made by Red Maple Kitchens in Cass City Michigan. I can only get it between April and September, at my local Farmer's Market. But it's a big jar and lasts a while.

(20,365 posts)I always think of the poisoned Elderberry Wine that the Brewster Sisters used to take care of their 'Gentlemen Callers', that later ended up, buried in the basement.

(22,252 posts)She had apple, peach, cherry, pear and Damsen Plum trees and made preserves and jellies from all of them.
There were also lots of blackberry bushes around the farm and strawberries from the garden
My grandmother had a different plum tree and concord grapes.
During the Depression, my great grandmother would make preserves with the pears and apples, then make jelly with the cores and peels.
Our family never lacked for preserves/jelly/jam of any kind.
Then there were the pickles/relishes etc but that is another story entirely
