Also love and watched the Alastair Sim version of "A Christmas Carol". Recently watched the 1947 version of "Miracle On 34th Street".

An over-produced, made-for-TV snooze fest. I don’t believe any of it for a second.

Alastair Sim’s version is da bomb. And - surprisingly - the Disney/Jim Carrey version is better than it had any right to be. Patrick Stewart’s version is worth watching as well.
