How do I post a picture?

Been here for years......used to link pics wile on my pc, but have only had an iPad to work with lately, and wanted to post a picture.....have no clue what to do....

Any help from non Luddites like myself would be most appreciated.....

But I think that only works if it is a JPEG or PNG

If you have a photo that is not, how do you like something like imgur to put it in the right format? I have never been able to figure that bit out.

I got those directions from another DUer, it absolutely worked though.

The one I use is Postimages.org but there are several others - ask around. You upload your photos to that site, which will assign a url to each photo. Then copy the url for the photo you want to your DU post. Nothing to it!

upload a .jpg... make it world readable (not private) and copy the link here.

That's worked in the past for me.

Some day old kaiser rolls baked in New York, a large kettle full of chocolate syrup over a fire and a nice bourbon

Wag the stick at the chicken, dip the Kaiser roll in the bourbon, get in the kettle and have a nice soak, then do what the others have told you.
